How can we be persuaded that Christ is able to keep us?

Answered in 1 source

We are persuaded by our faith in Christ's character and the assurance of His promises.

Paul expresses his deep confidence in 2 Timothy 1:12, stating, 'For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.' This assurance comes from our understanding of Christ's character as reliable and His promises as eternal. Throughout Scripture, believers are reminded of God's faithfulness and ability to save and preserve. The assurance of Romans 8:38-39 emphasizes that nothing can separate us from God's love, further solidifying our faith that He will keep us secure until the end. Our persuasion develops through personal experience, study of His Word, and engagement with His community.
