How can we be reconciled to God?

Answered in 2 sources

Reconciliation with God is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the law and made atonement for sin.

Reconciliation to God is only possible through Jesus Christ, who bridges the gap between God's holiness and our sinfulness. Romans 5:10 explains that 'if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.' God's justice and mercy meet in Christ, allowing Him to be both just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Thus, through Christ's sacrifice, we are able to have peace with God and be deemed righteous in His sight.
