How can we be saved according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, recognizing Him as God and Savior.

The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift from God, obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). To be saved, one must believe in the deity of Christ and His atoning work on the cross, acknowledging that He paid the penalty for sin (John 14:6). As Paul emphasizes, without this faith, we remain in our sin; but by believing in the central truth of the gospel—the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice—we receive forgiveness and eternal life.
