How can we be sure of our salvation before judgment?

Answered in 1 source

Assurance of salvation comes from faith in the atoning work and righteousness of Christ, who satisfied God's justice on our behalf.

Believers can be assured of their salvation based on the unchanging promise of God through Jesus Christ. When sinners trust in Christ's sacrifice and His perfect righteousness, they are declared justified before God. This justification is not based on their works but on Christ's finished work, fulfilling the requirements of divine justice. Furthermore, Scriptures assure believers that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). This certainty is bolstered by the knowledge that Christ will present His people to the Father, pure and acceptable, ensuring our place in eternal glory. Therefore, the faithful can face the Day of Judgment with confidence, knowing that their names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
