How can we be sure that God forgives our sins?

Answered in 1 source

God's forgiveness is guaranteed through the sacrifice of Christ, who remembers our sins no more.

In Hebrews 10:12-17, it is declared that Christ's singular sacrifice for sins was sufficient to perfect those who are being sanctified. The assurance we have rests in the covenant promise that God will remember our iniquities no more. Therefore, when believers place their faith in Christ, they can be confident that God's mercy has removed their sins, as testified in Isaiah 43:25, where God states, 'I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake.' This signifies a comprehensive and eternal forgiveness offered to all who trust in Him.
