How can we be sure that God will not forsake us?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness ensures that He will never forsake His people, as exemplified through Christ's redemptive work.

The assurance that God will not forsake His people is rooted in His promises and character. The preacher highlights that true trust rests in the belief that God, who sent His Son to bear the sins of His people, will keep His word. Romans 8 asserts that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. God's covenant with His elect guarantees that He will fulfill His promises and support us through all trials. The grace that brings us to God guarantees that He will complete the good work He has begun in our lives, as He can never go back on His word.
