How can we come to Christ for eternal life?

Answered in 1 source

Eternal life is received by coming to Christ in faith, recognizing Him as the source of spiritual sustenance.

The sermon underscores the essential truth that to have eternal life, one must come to Christ. Just as the people of Egypt had to come to Joseph during a time of famine for physical sustenance, sinners must come to Christ, the living Bread, to receive spiritual nourishment and eternal life. The invitation to come without money symbolizes that salvation is a gift from God, free of charge, not something that can be earned or purchased. This reflects the grace of God, illustrating that faith in Christ, who fulfills all righteousness and offers Himself as a substitute for sin, is the only means through which one can receive eternal life. Believers are encouraged to approach Christ with the acknowledgment of their need, as He promises to accept all who come to Him in faith.
