How can we do God's will if we are sinners?

Answered in 1 source

We can do God's will through Christ, who fulfilled the law and empowers us to live righteously (Romans 8:3).

The tension between our sinful nature and the call to do God's will is resolved in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:3 reveals that what the law could not accomplish due to our sinful flesh, God achieved by sending His Son. Christ obeyed the law perfectly on our behalf and provides His Spirit to those who believe, enabling us to walk according to God's will. As believers, we strive to live out God's commands with the understanding that it is Christ's obedience credited to us that makes us acceptable before Him, as stated in Ephesians 1:7.
