How can we ensure our good works are accepted by God?

Answered in 1 source

To ensure our good works are accepted by God, they must be done in obedience to His commands and for His glory.

Good works that are pleasing to God must align with His prescribed will as outlined in Scripture. For a work to be truly considered good, it must originate from God's commands, thus eliminating idolatrous practices that stem from human preference or pride. Additionally, it is essential that good works be performed for God's glory alone. The Apostle Paul emphasizes that whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, must be done for the glory of God. In this way, believers are reminded to examine the motives behind their actions and bring all they do before God, ensuring it is cleansed and accepted through the redemptive work of Christ.
