How can we establish the law of God?

Answered in 1 source

We establish God's law by faith in Christ, who perfectly fulfilled it on our behalf.

According to Romans 3:31, 'Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.' This means that rather than nullifying the law, faith in Christ actually fulfills it. By believing in Him, we receive His righteousness, which is the only means of fulfilling the law's demands. Furthermore, when believers are born of the Spirit, they are given a new nature and desire to keep the law joyfully. Thus, genuine faith produces a life characterized by obedience, not as a means to earn salvation, but as an expression of gratitude for the righteousness already secured in Christ.
