How can we find assurance in Christ's death?

Answered in 1 source

Assurance comes from knowing that Christ's death fully satisfied God's wrath against sin for those who believe.

The assurance of our salvation is intimately tied to Christ’s atoning work on the cross. In Isaiah 53:10, it is affirmed that it pleased the Lord to bruise Him, revealing that God’s satisfaction with His Son's sacrifice assures believers of their secure standing before Him. When we understand that Christ’s death not only paid the penalty for our sins but also sealed our relationship with God, we can rest in the assurance that we cannot be lost. Romans 5:9 highlights that we are justified by Christ's blood, providing us with confidence in the deliverance from God’s wrath, and thus a surety that we are saved.
