How can we find comfort in Jesus’ suffering?

Answered in 1 source

We find comfort in Jesus’ suffering by recognizing His empathy with our struggles and His power to deliver us.

In understanding Jesus’ suffering, believers can relate to His experiences of pain, betrayal, and isolation. Psalm 31 illustrates the depths of His sorrow, a reflection of the human condition. Christians can find profound comfort in knowing that Christ fully understands their trials, as He endured the ultimate suffering for their sake. Moreover, His suffering was not in vain; it was purposeful and resulted in our redemption. Because He was delivered from suffering through God's mercy, believers are assured that they too will be delivered from their difficulties through the same grace that Christ earned on their behalf. Trusting in His mercy, believers can face trials and tribulations with hope.
