How can we find comfort in our weakness and sin?

Answered in 1 source

We find comfort in our weakness and sin by trusting in God's grace and His work for our salvation.

Our weakness and struggles with sin can cause significant doubts regarding our salvation. However, Romans 8 teaches us that our salvation does not depend on our ability to overcome these weaknesses. Instead, it is based entirely on God's grace. He has justified us and continues to intercede for us through Christ, who bears the penalty for our sins (Romans 8:34). Thus, we can find comfort knowing that our salvation is upheld not by our strength or perfection, but wholly by His love and righteousness.
