How can we find forgiveness for our sins according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Forgiveness is found in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and offers grace to all who believe.

The Bible teaches that true forgiveness for sins is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. His sacrificial death on the cross paid the ultimate price for the sin and guilt of His people, allowing all who trust in Him to be cleansed (Romans 5:8). Whether one feels weighed down by heavy burdens of sin like Amnon, or any other sin, the call is to come to Jesus, who states in Matthew 11:28, 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' This promise assures believers that no matter the depth of one's sin, God is always willing to extend grace and mercy through sincere repentance and faith. The offer of forgiveness is universal for all who genuinely seek it and place their trust in Christ.
