How can we find strength in Christ during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Believers find strength in Christ by turning their focus to Him and relying on His promises.

Strength in Christ is found when believers actively look to Him amidst their struggles. The narrative of Peter walking on water illustrates that as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus, he was empowered to walk over the waves. When he became distracted by the storm, he began to sink (Matthew 14:30). This demonstrates that maintaining focus on Christ is vital. Additionally, believers are reminded in Philippians 4:13 that 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,' suggesting that His strength is perfectly sufficent for all circumstances. Therefore, prayer and contemplation of Scripture play crucial roles in asking for Christ's strength and finding solace in His presence.
