How can we find true comfort as Christians?

True comfort is found in the Lord Jesus Christ and the promises of His Word.

Simeon was waiting for the 'consolation of Israel,' showing that true comfort arises from a relationship with God through Christ. The Holy Spirit reveals Christ to believers, who find peace in knowing Him as Savior. As seen in 2 Corinthians 1:3, God is the source of all comfort, and believers are called to rest in the assurance that He holds them securely in His hands (John 10:28).
