How can we have confidence in our faith?

Answered in 1 source

Confidence in faith comes from recognizing that it is a gift from God, granted to those whom He has chosen.

The assurance of faith is deeply rooted in the understanding that saving faith is not of our own doing but is a gracious gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-9 states that we are saved by grace through faith, emphasizing that faith itself is not a work of our own. As articulated in Philippians 1:29, it is given to us to believe in Christ. True saving faith empowers believers to rest fully in the righteousness and atoning work of Christ, knowing that it is secured by God's promise. Furthermore, the assurance that Christ will not lose those given to Him reinforces our confidence in our relationship with Him. Indeed, as believers in Christ, we can trust that His work of salvation is complete and unassailable.
