How can we identify the true grace of God?

Answered in 1 source

The true grace of God is identified by its effectual nature, saving rather than just offering salvation.

The true grace of God can be identified in its capacity to save and sustain believers without reliance on human effort. Peter testifies in 1 Peter 5:12 that this is the 'true grace of God wherein you stand.' Unlike imposters that merely offer grace contingent on human decision, true grace is effectual, meaning it certainly brings about the promised results of salvation. This solid foundation allows believers to trust fully in God's promises, knowing that He will bring to completion the good work He has begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
