How can we know God loves us?

Answered in 1 source

We know God loves us through His actions, especially His willingness to send Christ to die for our sins.

The assurance of God's love is vividly illustrated in 1 John 3:1, where John declares that we are called the sons of God because of His extraordinary love. God's love is not abstract; it is demonstrated in action, particularly through the sacrifice of Christ for our sins as outlined in Romans 5:8. This sacrificial love assures us that we are valued, accepted, and included in God's family. Our continual experience of His love is affirmed by the Holy Spirit, who bears witness in our hearts, confirming our identity as His children and the recipients of His grace.
