How can we know if we are among Christ's sheep?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can know they are Christ's sheep by hearing His voice and following Him (John 10:27).

In John 10:27, Jesus states, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' This relationship illustrates the evidence of being part of Christ’s flock. Believers experience an inward calling and a responsiveness to Christ's voice, which leads them to faith and obedience. It is through an understanding of the Gospel and a personal encounter with Christ that an individual realizes their identity in Him. Additionally, the transformed life that follows, characterized by faith, repentance, and a desire to follow Christ, are further indications that one is indeed among His sheep. Assurance comes from recognizing God’s working grace in our lives, evidenced by our commitment to follow Him and adhere to His teachings.
