How can we know that God’s promises are fulfilled?

Answered in 1 source

God's promises are fulfilled through His sovereign will, and we see this evidenced in Scripture, particularly in the completion of redemptive history.

We can be assured that God's promises are fulfilled because His sovereign will is immutable and perfect. Throughout Scripture, we observe that God fulfills His promises in accordance to His divine timeline and purposes. For example, the prophecies concerning Cyrus mentioned in Isaiah 45 were fulfilled centuries later when he issued a decree allowing the Jews to return to Jerusalem. Similarly, the culmination of God's promises is seen in Christ, who completed the work of salvation as foreshadowed throughout the Old Testament. The historicity of biblical events and the faithfulness of God to His Word provide a foundation for our confidence that all His promises will indeed be fulfilled, both in our personal lives and in the ultimate restoration of all creation.
