How can we overcome doubt in our faith?

Answered in 1 source

We can overcome doubt by focusing on God’s promises and His past faithfulness in our lives.

Doubt is a common struggle for believers, yet Jesus encourages His followers to trust Him in Luke 12:29-30 by saying, "Neither be ye of a doubtful mind." Overcoming doubt involves anchoring ourselves in the truths of Scripture, recognizing God's faithfulness throughout history, and recalling how He has provided for us in times of need. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 37 that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, affirming that He leads us in righteousness. Regular prayer, fellowship with other believers, and meditating on God’s Word serve to strengthen our faith and decrease doubt. Our faith may be small, but if it is directed toward Christ, it suffices for our salvation and sustenance.
