How can we pray with confidence?

Answered in 1 source

We can pray with confidence by trusting in God's character and promises.

Praying with confidence does not stem from our abilities or self-righteousness but rather from our trust in God's unwavering character and promises. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to come boldly—this boldness is not brashness but a firm trust that God is both willing and able to hear our requests. The act of approaching God with our needs, even in brokenness, demonstrates faith in His goodness and grace. When we focus on Christ as our mediator, we shift our attention away from our failures and instead rest in His sufficiency, thus enabling us to pray confidently.
