How can we recognize true believers?

Answered in 1 source

True believers are those who hear Christ's voice, follow Him, and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

The identification of true believers is depicted by their responsiveness to Christ and their transformation through the Holy Spirit. As stated in the sermon, Jesus clarifies that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. This implies an active relationship characterized by obedience and recognition of His authority. Additionally, the fruits of faith—love, joy, peace, and other aspects of the Spirit—manifest in their lives. The divergence between true believers and unregenerate individuals is marked by the tangible evidence of spiritual life, aligning with the teachings found in John 10:27, where knowing Christ goes hand-in-hand with following Him.
