How can we trust God's sovereignty in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty assures us that He is in control, even when circumstances seem dire.

The assurance of God's sovereignty is imperative for believers as it provides comfort during trials. The sermon reiterates that God is actively involved in every act of providence, ruling and reigning with absolute authority over all creation. Examples from Scripture illustrate that even in suffering or adversity, God's purposes are being accomplished for the good of those who love Him. The trials we face, as unpleasant as they may be, are viewed as 'if need be' moments in which God is deliberately working for our refinement and growth in faith. Trusting in His sovereignty allows Christians to find peace amid the chaos and to see their struggles as under His divine authority.
