How can we trust in the Lord during times of trouble?

Answered in 1 source

We are to sanctify the Lord of Hosts and let Him be our fear during times of trouble.

In times of trouble, the Lord instructs us to look to Him for our comfort and salvation rather than succumbing to fear of man or circumstances. Isaiah 8:13 states, 'Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself, and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.' This means that we are to prioritize our relationship with God above all other concerns, seeking His guidance and deliverance. As we do so, we acknowledge His sovereignty and trust that He will provide and protect us, even in adverse situations. Furthermore, we are reminded of His promises that all things work together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
