How did Christ endure suffering for our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ endured suffering and shame, even to the point of death on the cross, to accomplish redemption for His people.

Philippians 2 reminds us that Christ, who was in the form of God, voluntarily laid aside His glory to endure suffering as a man. He faced opposition, temptation, and ultimately the cross, where He bore the sin of His people and the wrath of God against sin. His endurance was motivated by the joy of bringing salvation to those the Father had given Him. This act of obedience demonstrates the extent of His love and the necessity of His suffering in securing our redemption, as only through His sacrifice can we be reconciled to God.
