How did Jesus exemplify contentment?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus exemplified contentment by living a humble life and submitting to God's will at every stage.

Throughout His life, Jesus exemplified perfect contentment, demonstrating it from His birth until His ministry. For instance, in Luke 2:52, it is noted that He grew in wisdom and stature yet remained humble and content in His earthly existence. Despite His divine authority, He spent 30 years in obscurity as a carpenter, content to await His appointed time for ministry. Even despite performing miracles and not having a place to lay His head, as stated in Luke 9:58, His contentment stemmed from His relationship with the Father. His ultimate act of contentment was in the garden of Gethsemane when He submitted to the Father’s will by saying, 'not my will, but thine be done'. His example calls Christians to trust in God’s plan and provision.
