How do I know if I am called by God?

Answered in 1 source

Those recognized as called by God are drawn to Christ and acknowledge their need for salvation.

The assurance of being called by God is seen through a genuine recognition of one's sinfulness and the corresponding need for salvation. If one finds himself laboring under the weight of sin and seeking rest in Christ, it likely indicates a divine calling. In the sermon, it is stressed that Christ came to call sinners, not the self-righteous. In John 10:27, Jesus says, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' A true call from God involves an inward response to His voice, leading to repentance and faith. Thus, the evidence of God's call is manifested in a heart turned toward Him and an eagerness to embrace His grace.
