How do I know if I am one of God's elect?

Answered in 1 source

One way to discern God's elect is by recognizing a sense of neediness and reliance on Christ alone for salvation.

The assurance of being one of God's elect is often found in recognizing the work of the Holy Spirit in one's heart. Those elected by God will feel their spiritual poverty and inability to save themselves, leading them to trust in Christ's righteousness. As mentioned in the sermon, the evidence of election is in the response to the preaching of the gospel; when one feels drawn to Christ and acknowledges their weakness, it is a sign of God's choosing. Moreover, the ongoing work of sanctification in the believer's life further confirms their status as one chosen by God.
