How do I know if I am one of the chosen and redeemed by God?

Answered in 1 source

You can know you are chosen if you recognize your spiritual poverty and have faith in Christ's sufficiency for salvation.

In Isaiah 66:2, God tells us that He looks favorably upon the one who is poor in spirit and of a contrite heart. This means that recognizing your own spiritual bankruptcy before God is essential. If you experience this poverty of spirit, acknowledge your total dependence on God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, then you can have assurance of your election. The presence of this humble disposition and faith in Christ demonstrates God's work in your heart, affirming that He has indeed chosen and redeemed you.
