How do trials lead us to prayer?

Answered in 1 source

Trials often drive believers to seek God fervently in prayer, relying on His strength and intervention.

In moments of distress, such as the persecution depicted in Acts 12, believers are reminded of their dependence on God. When the church faced the threat of losing Peter, they did not turn to worldly solutions but turned to prayer. This highlights a significant aspect of our trials: they are designed to bring us to our knees before God. As the church prayed without ceasing for Peter, their trials cultivated a deeper reliance on divine intervention. Thus, in our struggles, prayer should always be our first response, recognizing that our greatest strength lies in seeking God's help.
