How do we achieve holiness as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Holiness is achieved by setting ourselves apart from worldly ways and living in obedience to God's Word.

In Leviticus 20, God calls His people to holiness, emphasizing that sanctification comes from Him. This is not about outward forms of piety, but rather a profound inner separation from the defilements of the world. As believers, we achieve holiness by sanctifying ourselves—choosing to reject the idolatrous practices and ways of life that surround us. This call to holiness is also reaffirmed in the New Testament, where believers are encouraged to perfect holiness in the fear of God, recognizing that it is God who empowers this transformation in us through the Holy Spirit.
