How do we find hope according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Hope is found in God's promises and the truth of His Word.

In the Bible, hope is intricately connected to the promises of God. The psalmist in Psalm 119 expresses that God has caused him to hope through His Word (Psalm 119:49). This gift of hope is not self-generated but is a result of God's grace in revealing His truth to us. When we meditate on God's promises, particularly in Christ, we are strengthened and infused with hope, reminding us that our God is faithful and will never forget His covenant with His people.
