How do we find purpose in life according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that our purpose in life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

According to Scripture, our existence is not random; we are created specifically to know God and glorify Him (Isaiah 43:7). Understanding that we exist to reflect God's glory shapes our actions, motivations, and relationships. As we learn to delight in God and serve Him, we fulfill our purpose and find true satisfaction. This is most clearly articulated in the Westminster Catechism, which states that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Our fulfillment comes in recognizing and embracing this divine calling.
