How do we flee from the wrath to come?

Answered in 1 source

We flee from the wrath to come by placing our faith in Jesus Christ as our refuge.

As warned in Matthew 3:7, we must take heed to flee from the wrath to come by seeking refuge in Christ. Hebrews 6:18 illustrates this by comparing coming to Christ to the Old Testament cities of refuge, where one could escape judgment by taking hold of hope. Our faith in Christ serves as both our refuge and our assurance of salvation, providing us comfort in the face of the inevitable wrath due to sin. In doing so, we access the promise of no condemnation (Romans 8:1) and find security that is a firm anchor for our souls, ensuring our perseverance until the end.
