How do we grow in our Christian faith?

Answered in 1 source

Christian growth occurs through the continual hearing and understanding of the gospel, focusing on Christ's faithfulness.

Growth in Christian faith is critical as believers are called to mature spiritually. According to Ephesians and Galatians, believers grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, not by returning to the law or their own efforts. This spiritual maturity comes through receiving continual teaching about the grace of God and Christ's completed work. It's the gospel—the message of God's faithfulness and saving work—that nourishes the believer, allowing them to grow as saints already made holy in Christ. Thus, this growth is a gradual process of recognizing Christ's constant presence and work in their lives.
