How do we know a person is truly saved?

Answered in 1 source

True salvation is evidenced by an individual's belief, their coming to Christ, confession, and the subsequent deeds that reflect a transformed life.

A regenerated heart is evidenced in a believer's life through four key manifestations: belief in God, coming to Christ, confession of faith through baptism, and a life that shows good deeds. These evidences are not merely actions but are rooted in the work of God in a person's heart. Acts 19 describes many who believed the word proclaimed and then came, showing the clear connection between belief and action. When a person experiences true salvation, their old ways pass away, and they begin to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit, affirming their transformation and commitment to Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
