How do we know all things work together for our good?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can trust that all things work together for good because of God's sovereignty and promises in Scripture.

Romans 8:28 specifically assures us that 'all things work together for good to them that love God.' This promise is firmly rooted in God's sovereign will and purpose. Every circumstance, whether joyful or painful, is under His control and ultimately serves a greater design for our benefit. The good mentioned here is not necessarily the fulfillment of our earthly desires but the fulfillment of God's purpose in conforming us to the image of Christ. We are called according to His purpose, which ensures that every detail of our lives is woven together for our eternal good and His glory.
