How do we know Christ died for me?

Answered in 3 sources

You know Christ died for you by believing in Him, which brings the assurance of God’s love into your heart (Romans 5:5).

The assurance that Christ died for you comes through faith in Him. As stated in Romans 5:5, 'the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.' Believing on the Son of God and experiencing His transforming love provides the strongest confirmation of Christ's sacrificial death being applicable to you. When one acknowledges their sinfulness and inability to save themselves, they can rest in the truth that Christ died for sinners. This personal assurance is not a matter of personal feeling but a divinely inspired conviction of faith.
