How do we know Christ finished the work of redemption?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's work of redemption is complete because He is currently seated at the right hand of God.

The assurance that Christ finished the work of redemption is found in His current posture; He is seated at the right hand of the Father, a position that signifies the completed work of atonement (Hebrews 10:12). In John 17:4, Jesus states that He has finished the work the Father gave Him, further affirming His successful mission. The absence of seating in the Old Testament tabernacle indicates the continuous work of the priests, whereas Christ, as our high priest, remains seated, showing that His sacrifice was sufficient and final. This is the essence of the gospel, that Christ alone achieves redemption for His people.
