How do we know Christ is above all?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ is above all because He comes from above, standing superior to all created things and speaking the words of God (John 3:31).

In John 3:31, it is proclaimed that 'He that cometh from above is above all', which asserts the preeminence of Christ over all creation. His divine origin illustrates His superiority; unlike earthly beings who speak of earthly things, Christ speaks the very words of God, reflecting His divine authority. This is further supported by Ephesians 1:21, where it is said that Christ is far above all principality and power. Such affirmations serve to establish His unique role in salvation and His sovereignty over all aspects of creation and providence.
