How do we know Christ is approachable?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's mediatorial office and His actions throughout the Gospels affirm His approachability to all sinners.

We know Christ is approachable because He serves as our Mediator, which inherently means He is accessible to both God and humanity. Galatians 3:20 states that a mediator must relate to both parties, and Jesus fulfills this role perfectly. He is not only our Mediator but also our High Priest, as mentioned in Hebrews 10:21, inviting us to draw near to God through Him. Christ’s compassionate actions, such as His interactions with the Samaritan woman and His calling of sinners, reaffirm that He welcomes those who come to Him in need, irrespective of their past.
