How do we know Christ is central to creation?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ is described as the one through whom all things were made and for whom all things exist, as stated in Colossians 1:16.

According to Colossians 1:16-18, 'For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible.' This passage affirms that Christ not only played an active role in the creation of all things but also that all created things exist for Him. His preeminence is established as He is described as the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, indicating that everything finds its purpose and coherence in Him. Thus, the significance of Christ in creation transcends mere involvement; it reveals that He is the fulfillment of all creation's intent and goal.
