How do we know Christ is central to salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is central to salvation as He is the only means through which we are saved from our sins, fulfilling God's redemptive plan.

The centrality of Christ in salvation is affirmed through Scripture, particularly in Matthew 1:21, where it states that He will save His people from their sins. Throughout the Bible, sin is portrayed in various ways, including as a disease, with leprosy representing the incurability of human sin apart from Christ. Jesus' sacrificial death fulfills God's justice, offering redemption to sinners. In Him, we have our righteousness and are justified before God. This underscores that there is no salvation apart from Christ; He alone embodies the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
