How do we know Christ is found in the Gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is found in the Gospel as it's the power of God for salvation, revealed through the Holy Spirit (Romans 1:16).

The Gospel is referred to in Romans 1:16 as the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. The preaching of the Gospel is where believers encounter Christ, as it reveals His person and work. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit illuminates the hearts of God's people, enabling them to see and understand the truths of the Gospel. According to Romans 10:14-15, belief in Christ is contingent upon hearing the Gospel, demonstrating that Christ is indeed found where the Gospel is faithfully preached and received by the Spirit.
