How do we know Christ is greater than Moses?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ is greater than Moses because He fulfills what Moses merely represented; Moses was a servant, while Christ is the Son.

Moses is referred to as the meekest man on earth and was chosen to lead God's people out of Egypt (Numbers 12:3). However, while Moses obeyed God and led the Israelites, he was still fallible and ultimately could not bring them to the Promised Land due to disobedience. In contrast, Christ is represented as the fulfillment of the law and the ultimate deliverer. He is the Rock that was smitten once and provides eternal life (John 4:14). Thus, while Moses demonstrates meekness and humility, Christ’s nature and mission establish Him as the greater leader who delivered His people from sin.
