How do we know Christ is King?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ is King because Scripture testifies to His dominion and authority over all creation, declaring Him to be the head of the church and ruler of the universe.

The recognition of Christ as King is firmly established in Scripture, particularly in Ephesians 1:21-22, where it states that God has set Christ far above all rule and authority, placing all things under His feet. This dominion is universal, encompassing all powers of heaven and earth. Moreover, Christ's kingship is confirmed through His resurrection and ascension, establishing Him as the mediator between God and humanity. He is both King and Priest, reflecting both His authority and His role in representing His people before God. The acknowledgment of His Kingship strengthens the faith of believers, assuring them that they are under the protection and governance of Christ, the true monarch. Furthermore, Philippians 2:10 asserts that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, affirming His ultimate reign.
