How do we know Christ is our continual high priest?

According to Hebrews 7, Christ's priesthood is described as perpetual, highlighting that He continually lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. This assurance stems from the fact that while earthly priests had to constantly offer sacrifices, Christ offered Himself once for all, signifying the completion and perfection of His sacrificial role. There is no need for another high priest, as Jesus’ eternal intercession assures believers that their sins are forgiven for all time. His perfection and the unchangeable nature of His priesthood make Him a refuge for all sinners in need of grace.
