How do we know Christ is our great Deliverer?

Christ fulfills the typology of the judges in the Old Testament, as seen in the story of Ehud, who is a foreshadowing of Christ's work of salvation. Just as Ehud delivered Israel from their oppressor Eglon, Christ delivers us from the grip of sin and death. This is evidenced in passages such as Isaiah 53, which speaks of His suffering and sacrificial death. Christ's ultimate act of deliverance on the cross secures our salvation, making Him the perfect Deliverer and fulfilling God's redemptive plan as outlined throughout Scripture.
